Hi. I’m a strategic digital marketer and I make beautiful things that actually get results.
Let’s work together.

01. A Quick Intro

I believe that good marketing is more than just clever creative or A/B testing. It’s when the technical and the creative come together that great marketing campaigns are made. I’m a data-driven marketer who uses analytics and technical skills to create fresh email campaigns that drive engagement and landing pages that convert, while maintaining authentic messaging and brand integrity.

02. More on that Marketing thing

Media and Marketing for a Family Camp

My first internship was at Camp Arcadia, managing their media and promotions work, which included photography, social media management, digital content strategy, copywriting, video production, and a high level of organization and self-dependency.

Marketing and Photography for a Ugandan Nonprofit

LOT 2545, a nonprofit based in Kampala, Uganda, provides apprenticeships and schooling for Ugandan students and a market for female Ugandan artisans. I redesigned their website to put a greater focus on their sponsorship of students and women, grew their social media engagement, developed and photographed a styled shoot to market handmade Ugandan jewelry, and created a branded collection of social media images and graphics that the organization still uses today.

Photography, Writing, and Marketing for Hillsdale College

In the midst of these two internships, I worked as a student photographer and copywriter at Hillsdale College. These positions led to a marketing internship with their Marketing Department, where I brought a dead Facebook page back to life, assisted in the launch of a Facebook-based online course, learned about email marketing and handled customer service emails on behalf of the college, and constructed a national survey that helped the alumni relations department improve their communications and social media marketing.

Digital Marketing for Hillsdale College

I’m currently the Digital Content Coordinator at Hillsdale College. I manage over a dozen websites, hundreds of landing pages, and dozens of sticky bars and pop-ups. I create written and visual content, design pages, manage regular update requests from other departments, lead our web strategy, and manage analytics and reporting. I also develop and monitor marketing emails, providing strategy, designing campaigns and emails, reporting on analytics, optimizing both old and current emails, and managing email lists. Along with web and email, I often take on graphic design projects for the college such as email headers, web icons, posters, and social media ads. As the resident photographer, I’ve directed and photographed modern portraits, big ticket events, styled products, campus landscapes, on-set stills, and styled commercial shoots. With my creative experience, technical skill, and intuition, I provide a nitty gritty mix of hands-on assistance and overarching vision to my team.

03. Let’s talk photography

Portraits are my first photographic love, though I find myself shoot everything from product flat lays to film sets. Currently, at Sarah Christine Photography (yes, that one’s mine), I focus on senior portraiture and editorial images. At Hillsdale College, I shoot official portraits, products, flat lays, behind the scenes, events, landscapes, macro, and even film sets (as the official stills photographer, which is a pretty rad job).

04. Web, graphic, and email design, oh my!

I branched into digital design because I needed branding for my photography business, and didn’t know enough to hire someone. Since that lovely mistake, I’ve done design work for various organizations and nonprofits, including Camp Arcadia, LOT 2545, Hillsdale College Lighthouse, Benzing Dormitory, and Hillsdale College itself. This work includes branding, web design, email design, social media graphics, lockscreens, printed promotional material, presentations, charts, and more.

05. What’s the deal with travel?

Other cultures excite me; I love living in a foreign language and I’m always down to try weird foods (my latest adventure was an Italian dish called pajata - look it up). My goal is always to experience authentic culture, even if that means taking a hike (literally) off the beaten path. When it comes to international marketing and photography, I’m your girl. Overseas, I’ve lived in Spain (and speak the language), and spent time in England + Gibraltar, Morocco, Uganda, Israel, Hungary, France, and Italy (plus, half my family lives in Canada). I’m currently planning my next adventure, this time to Argentina.
